icon incar is a highly specialized design consultancy for Automotive User Interface Design & User Experience, Connectivity Concepts, Mobility Ecosystems and for Research and Development. We are active at locations worldwide: in Berlin, Munich, Ingolstadt, Santa Monica, Detroit and Shanghai, with more than 120 employees.
Today we support projects of all sizes across all locations, for traditional OEMs as well as for EV start-ups, mostly directly in cooperation with the design departments of our clients. We cover the entire value chain from research & innovation through pre-development to series production.
With our latest product VIBES, an innovative and multi-sensory HMI, we are offering a platform for unique immersive experiences. By transforming the seat into an audio-haptic interface we bring a completely new and rich dimension to the driving experience. VIBES connects the passenger to the car and delivers a driving experience in full resolution: Alert. Entertained. Relaxed.

VIBES is an experience platform for EV's. Based on a seat with audio-haptic actuators, VIBES creates a unique driving experience that is immersive and exciting. Sound and vibrations in the seat create an emotional acceleration and recuperation sensation. Haptic impulses can be used to indicate safety-relevant interventions more quickly than acoustic warnings. Entertainment enters a new dimension where you can hear AND feel content. And our wellness function provides comfort and relaxation.
