HY-X is a German manufacturer of zero-emission buses. Our 12- and 18-meter buses are available purely battery-electric or optionally with fuel cells from our own production.
Through our international competence networks and cooperation, we are pushing the research and production of innovative fuel cells, buses and, in the future, also trucks.
As a manufacturer, we stand for effective and efficient production processes and solutions for our customers. We are continuously working to improve our high quality standards, protect the environment and ensure passenger safety.
The basis of our success is excellently trained employees. That is why we offer relevant degree courses and skilled worker training in the field of electromobility and fuel cell technology in close cooperation with universities in Germany and UK.

Our 12- and 18-meter buses are available purely battery-electric or optionally with fuel cells from our own developed. In addition to the reliability of the buses, we place great emphasis on passenger safety.
Trucks
The tractor-trailer units currently in the trial phase will soon be presented with our fuel cells and efficient drives. In the design process, we placed great emphasis on low operating and acquisition costs as well as long ranges.
Fuel cell systems
The systems of the HY-X 130 series with an output of 132 kW can be used in buses as well as in medium and heavy trucks and other vehicles. They are characterized by high power density and reliability.
Hydrogen Semi Trailer
Our completely redesigned trailers for zero-emission drive are offered for different requirements and weight classes.
The design has been focused on low energy consumption, which allows a range of up to 750 km. Through high-strength stainless steel and special body materials, we offer high corrosion resistance and long service life.
The many intelligent driver assistance systems support the driver and offer fatigue-free and safe driving.
Fuel cell system HY-X Series 130
Our fuel cell has an output of 132 kW and is suitable for buses, medium and heavy trucks.
The power density is 570 W/kg with a system efficiency of >56%.
In the design, attention was paid to reducing interfaces. This reduces installation effort and maintenance costs and increases service life.
Zero-emission buses for public transport
We offer our Zero-emission buses both as purely battery-electric vehicles and with our fuel cells in lengths of 12 and 18 meters.
The buses are equipped with innovative automatic transmissions and drive systems.
The range varies depending on the type and can be adapted to suit requirements.
Depending on the vehicle type and customer requirements, a different number of seats and standing places can be offered.
