NVH Chassis Passenger Car

BOGE Rubber & Plastics is the world’s largest manufacturer of hydraulic ­damping chassis suspension mounts. Our high-quality and long-life chassis mounts reduce vibration that can occur during cornering, braking maneuvers or on rough roads. These components have to meet rigorous vibration damping and noise insulation standards for each type of vehicle and play a key role in improving ride safety and stability as well as vehicle dynamics and comfort.

NVH Powertrain Passenger Cars

Our engine and transmission mounts prevent noise and vibration from entering the passenger compartment via the drivetrain, thus improving acoustic performance and comfort. Switchable or active engine mounts assist in fuel savings especially with a downsized engine, cylinder cutoff or start-stop function. Due to the increasing use of lightweight materials, vehicle weight and in turn fuel consumption are reduced. We also provide Fiber-reinforced flexible coupling for a wide range of applications.

Lightweight Construction

With more than 45 years of experience in plastics technology, we are experts in lightweight constructions. Electric mobility: BOGE chassis parts for NEVS

For the automotive supplier BOGE Rubber & Plastics, innovation also means dealing intensively with the subject of electric mobility. NEVS, a Chinese manufacturer of electric vehicles, has now placed an order with BOGE for chassis suspension components in China. The front and rear top mount, control arm bushing, trailing arm bushing, and toe link bush come from BOGE: The parts were developed and will be produced at BOGE's Qingpu location. BOGE Elastmetall Shanghai Co. Ltd. has been located in Qingpu for over ten years with sales, development, prototype production, simulation, materials engineering and production. The product portfolio includes rubber-metal components (noise and vibration damping) for chassis and powertrain as well as plastic components and modules for the global automotive industry.

With its new Customer Service Center Asia (CSC Asia) in Zhuzhou/China, the BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group is consistently continuing its globalization strategy. The CSC Asia is an essential cornerstone for meeting the requirements of local customers even better, further increasing service quality for customers and continuing to grow in Asia. Brake pedal 40-55 percent lighter than steel

Innovative lightweight technology enables volume production, is affordable and hybrid. That’s why the automotive supplier BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group has developed an additive manufacturing process for endless fiber materials. It is applied to brake pedals,  a safety critical component – 40-55 percent lighter than steel, fully automated and quality controlled.

Core of the process is the local adaption of fiber architectures by printing unidirectional reinforcements (UD-Tapes) to organo-sheets. In a second step these tailored blanks are then draped and consolidated in a way, that fully welds the tapes to the organo-sheets. This makes mechanical properties of endless fiber-shells programmable. Increased fiber efficiency reduces the amount of equipped endless fiber materials by 30 percent, reducing wall thickness and thus weight and cycle time.
